About Bryony
Bryony Landricombe is a Registered Associate Nutritionist and the founder of The Nutrition Hub Dorset. With a First-Class BSc in Nutrition and an MSc in Nutrition and Behaviour with Distinction, Bryony Landricombe brings both academic excellence and practical expertise to her work. She has successfully coached hundreds of clients in weight management and pre-diabetes prevention, with many successfully reversing their pre-diabetes diagnosis and achieving their long-term weight goals.
Bryony is passionate about helping individuals cut through the confusion of nutrition advice and build a healthier relationship with food. Her approach goes beyond meal plans and calorie counting, focusing instead on sustainable, evidence-based strategies that fit into real lives. She combines her scientific knowledge with a compassionate, supportive style to empower clients to feel confident, in control, and ready for lasting change.
Bryony supports individuals with weight management, type 2 diabetes prevention, emotional and habitual eating, and nutrition challenges associated with early alcohol recovery. Her practice is centred on helping clients build sustainable lifestyle changes and a healthier relationship with food, focusing on long-term wellbeing rather than quick fixes.
Her approach is professional, supportive, and rooted in behaviour change, empowering clients to feel more confident, resilient, and in control of their health.
Academia
Bryony holds a First-Class BSc in Nutrition and an MSc in Nutrition and Behaviour at Distinction, from Bournemouth University, where she was also awarded the MSc Nutrition and Behaviour Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and Leadership. This recognition reflected not only her academic performance but also her contributions through volunteering, participating in events, supporting peers, and consistently demonstrating a positive, collaborative approach.
Her research to date has explored the links between the Mediterranean diet and stress, as well as sugar cravings in individuals reducing alcohol intake. These projects reflect her wider interest in the relationship between nutrition, psychological health, and behaviour change.
Bryony’s academic expertise is complemented by her professional experience in leading UK nutrition companies, including her current role as a Health Coach at Second Nature and her previous role as Head of Brand at Rhitrition. This combination of evidence-based knowledge and practical coaching experience allows her to provide tailored, compassionate, and realistic support to each individual she works with.
Personal Journey
For many years, Bryony faced an unhealthy obsession with being as thin as possible, as fast as possible, which led to disordered eating and a fixation on 'clean' eating. Although she was never officially diagnosed with orthorexia, she now recognises how this mindset affected both her physical and mental health. Her path to finding balance and building a healthier relationship with food has deeply influenced her approach to nutrition today.
As a Registered Associate Nutritionist, Bryony is dedicated to promoting a realistic, compassionate approach to health. She believes that food should nourish, not control, and that sustainable, balanced choices are essential for long-term well-being. While she does not offer eating disorder support, her personal experience gives her a unique understanding of the pressures many people face. Bryony aims to provide guidance that fosters a positive relationship with food and body, grounded in evidence-based nutrition. Should you need eating disorder support, Bryony highly recommends speaking with the team of dietitians at Rhitrition Clinic.
Parenthood
Balancing her nutrition business with her studies, Bryony is also a dedicated mother to her daughter. She understands the daily challenges that come with parenting, especially for those juggling multiple responsibilities. As a single parent, Bryony appreciates the difficulty of prioritising personal health amidst the demands of work, family, and self-care. This personal experience drives her passion for helping other parents build realistic, sustainable habits that improve their health and well-being. She aims to provide guidance that fits seamlessly into busy family routines, without adding stress or pressure.
“Bryony has helped me understand the importance of nutrition and gut health, not only for myself but also my baby on our weaning journey. We are by no means at the end of our journey just yet, but Bryony has been such a great support mentally from the struggles of becoming a first time mum. We feel so much happier, healthier and a lot more energised from a combination of eating better foods and sleeping better at night.”
